Brian's Kick Ass, PR, Philly Marathon Recap - Episode 69

Episode 69 – Brian’s Kick Ass, PR, Philly Marathon Recap.

Whenever a Fit Crazy puts their butt on the line, we get a recap. Ironman, marathons, birthday marathons, big events, Boston Marathon heartbreak? You name it. If there is a big Fit Crazy performance, you’re getting a Recap Show. And here in Episode 69, Brian and Christine give you just that.

Coming off his HUGE Philly Marathon 2 hour 48 minute 42 second (2:48:42), PR, Brian gives us the low down on his gigantic effort in the City of Brotherly Love. What did this guy just win an Oscar? You’d think the guy actually put the crack in the Liberty Bell! Too bad! It’s a Fit Crazy performance worthy of a Fit Crazy Recap!

Hear of the preparation, motivation, genesis of his love for running and all that went into making the run happen, including the inspirational run the day prior to the race by a very special cross-country team that he’s been lucky enough to be a part of this season.

All in all, if feeling good makes you feel good, this one will make you feel good. We Love It When We’re Having The Best Time!!!!!

Please Enjoy!

Two Fit Crazies and a Microphone Podcast

Episode 64 – Data, Technology and Apps – The Best of Times? Or the Worst of Times?

In Episode 64 Christine and Brian chat about the “Pros and Cons” and the necessity, or lack of, surrounding the incredible amount of technology, apps and tools, designed to benefit our health, at our disposal in today’s marketplace.

Are these advancements our greatest allies in achieving great health? Has the pendulum swung too far? Have we become too reliant on tech and data? What happens when our gadgets break (we’re looking at you Garmin)? Does common science lack common sense? With everything that’s out there now, what will they possibly think of next?

Find out what the Two Fit Crazies have to say on the topic here in Episode 64 of the Two Fit Crazies and a Microphone Podcast.

Two Fit Crazies and a Microphone Podcast

Episode 63 - Knowing Your Worth and the Value of Your Time

In Episode 63 the Two Fit Crazies discuss, the commodities, time and money and how they relate to our health, our training and the life of professional trainers and coaches.

The two things most commonly heard when we speak with clients, potential or otherwise, is:

A.      “I don’t have the time.”

and

B.      Joining a gym or having a trainer and/or coach “is too expensive.”

In Episode 63, Brian and Christine discuss solutions for making this work. In addition, they discuss the reasons why the industry standards for trainers and coaches are as such and the reasons why clients should seek only the best.

Whether it is money or time, be sure to spend it wisely!

What's Holding You Back? - Episode 58

On Episode 58 of the Two Fit Crazies and a Microphone Podcast, Brian and Christine recap an awesome Episode 57 with the great fellas from Pure Focus Sports Club. What a great time that Episode was. Old school gym owners discussing the ins and out of power lifting and body building! It’s a classic!

From there they lead into their topic du jour. “What’s Holding You Back?” It’s an interesting topic in that it is something that we hear often and know all too well.

I/You/We know that I/you/we should be doing something differently, but just don’t always do that thing that I/you/we know that we should be doing. Something is holding you back from doing what must be done.

So, What Is It? What Is Holding You Back?

The answer is yours. It’s personal. If we were playing Family Feud, the most common answer on the board would Fear. Fear runs deep and wears many hats. Fear can be associated with danger. Fear is anxiety. Fear is uncertainty. Fear is societal pressures or judgement. Fear can be monetary. For all to many, fear is most often connected to failure. Fear of Failure is a gigantic deterrent to many. All of this is enough for many to do the worst thing, which is nothing.

Making Changes in life, career, relationships, diet, activity, lifestyle, performance, etc. is rarely done on a whim. Conclusions are made long before action is taken. We know what needs to be done. In Episode 58, the Two Fit Crazies ask you to dig deep any proclaim that “thing” that is getting in the way of you and your next stage of living your best life. Again, the answers are yours. But know that there is gold on the other side of doing what you know is best.

So, what is it? What is holding you back?

Let Us Know! We Got You Back

With Love!
