“98% of diets fail...live a balanced life with everything you do...move to a 80/20 mindset”

“The food is not as important as how the food makes you feel.”

-Dr. Candice Seti

In Episode 133, the Two Fit Crazies were joined by Dr. Candice Seti, a licensed clinical psychologist, nutritionist, and personal trainer who is based out of San Diego, California. Dr. Seti specializes in weight loss and weight management counseling, insomnia treatment, personal training and therapy for issues such as insomnia, anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem concerns, and relationship issues. Dr. Seti works with frustrated people from around-the-world who have been “dieting” their whole lives and just don’t know what to do! Listen up as Dr. Seti discusses why “diets work for less than 2% of our population” and how we can help ourselves have a healthier relationship with food by learning some very simple mindful eating techniques. Are you present when you eat? Do you eat “screen free?” Do you take the time to slow down and appreciate your food? Where did it come from? How does it look, smell and taste? In addition, Dr. Seti also educates us about the effects of Orthorexia, the extreme fixation over pureness and quality of food. This episode is NOT TO BE MISSED!
